Mystery has captured my heart.

Not the mystery of a good Dean Koontz novel nor who orchestrated JFK’s assassination. This mystery is deeper. More subtle. And much more ancient. Pursuing it has made a fool of me, as it has many before me.

The word ‘mystery’ called to me a few weeks ago from Paul’s epistle to the Ephesians. It is the mystery of the Gospel of Christ. A sacred secret that was hidden for millennia but is now being revealed by God through us believers.

I invite you to join me over the next few days and weeks as together we explore what the Holy Spirit has to tell us about this mystery of the Gospel. We’ll begin our exploration with the book of Ephesians where Paul talks about this mystery six times. As you encounter each of these in your reading pause a moment and reflect on its meaning for you and how the Holy Spirit is revealing this mystery through you.
